My December is seen as Clarkson's work of art. Every song was written/co written by Clarkson. The album has a darker theme compared to her last two, and is known for its harder rock sound. The album its self is a story from beginning to end, and was written by Clarkson while on tour. While on tour, she was isolated from her friends and family, and found our her boyfriend was cheating on her, resulting in her unhappiness which can be felt in her songs. Irvine, the last song mentioned on the cd version of the album, was written by Kelly during her tour in Irvine. She has stated that it was the lowest moment of her life, and the song itself was a prayer to God. Chivas, the actual last song on the cd, was put last so the album could end on a lighter side. She wanted people to see that in the end, you need to move on and try not to take thing so seriously. It was voted the 5th best album of 2007 by the readers on Billboard magazine. It has so far reached platinum status in the U.S., and has sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

All I Ever Wanted is the fourth studio album by American pop rock singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson, released on March 6, 2009 in Australia and Germany, March 9, 2009 in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, March 10, 2009 in Canada, Mexico and the United States, and on March 13, 2009 in Italy. It was her second album to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 200, making it Clarkson's second non-consecutive number-one album. All I Ever Wanted has been certified Gold in Australia and the United Kingdom. All I Ever Wanted has sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
Masquerade was originally chosen to be the title of the album but was changed to All I Ever Wanted because Clarkson felt that there were albums with similar themes currently on the charts, such as P!nk's Funhouse and Britney Spears' Circus.
Kelly wrote or Co-wrote seven out of those 16 songs (Cry, Already Gone, If I Can't Have You, Impossible, Ready, I Want You, Tip of My Tongue). There has been some controversy surrounding the song Already Gone due to its resemblance to Beyonce Halo. According to info from Pulse, Halo' had been written/produced/demo'd since January 2008. Ryan wrote the song while Apologize was blowing up. Simon approached Ryan at some event and asked him to meet with him. Simon went through songs and picked Halo out. Kelly started working with Ryan in May or June and he wrote Already Gone with her and fully produced it.
Leona's handlers said they were going to pass on the track because Leona's schedule was too busy
Beyonce heard a demo of Already Gone when working with the same guy who mixed AG. Beyonce called Ryan up and demanded that he get a track for her that sounded the same. Ryan went into the studio and started working a new progression of Halo. Beyonce met with him, heard it and recorded it in 2 hours. Beyonce rush released her album and decided Halo would be a single so she could beat Kelly's release date and get her track out first.
All I Ever Wanted has recieved a vast amount of positive reviews.
